The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services at a 600 bedded General Hospital on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 70 bedded rehabilitation and intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital. We have almost 4,000 dedicated staff providing a comprehensive range of high quality medical services to more than 445,000 patients per year from an area covering Western Cheshire, Ellesmere Port, Neston and North Wales.

At this time of significant transformation in health and care services we are seeking two new Non-Executive Directors to join our ambitious, unitary board as two of our Non-Executives are reaching the end of their terms of office. Providing high scrutiny, strong governance and strategic leadership within our board; we are seeking values-driven leaders who will complement our existing team. For one of the positions we are particularly interested in hearing from clinical leaders who have successful board level experience and for the second position we are open to applicants from all sectors who will offer relevant experience of transformation leadership at board level in a large, complex environment.
